  1. Laureen's cake was made in 1983. It fed just under 250 servings, & was decorated with blue-purple whisteria & white rose buds of royal. There was a 6" on top, separated from what's seen by 4" pillars. Nothing was too good for my 'baby-sister'! One little known fact about the wedding: Her Bridal Bouquet was completed (by me) on the way to the ceremony. It wasn't my most-fab cake, but it was my most fun-loved cake to make. It's just fun to look back on "those days".

  2. Since I began this blog 2 years ago, there's been a lapse on my participation in my blog, I feel I need to explain to all of the lovely people I met along the way. My health took a down-turn, & I'm needing a rt. shoulder replacement, soon. We're not even certain if my rt. rotator cuff is functioning. So, since life is getting shorter, I'm jumping into this baking blog, with both feet. We actually don't know what is available to us. As I say, "eat dessert first, you never know what will happen".
